Why I built Aumoria

Nada, founder of Aumoria

I'm Nada, the founder of Aumoria. I built it from Perth, on the other side of the world from most of the people I love.

I've spent two decades in Australia. My parents are in Canada. My children have grown up not really knowing their grandparents. Not because of any falling out, just circumstance and distance and years that slip by faster than you expect.

When my mum told me my dad was becoming forgetful, something shifted. I realised how much I didn't know about him. Not the big things, but the small ones. The stories he carried, the way he saw his own life. I started asking. He started talking. And what came back was a treasure.

That's where Aumoria came from. A simple, gentle way to capture the stories of the people we care about, before they fade.

We make Legacy Books from voice recordings. The person speaks, we do the rest. No homework, no awkward questionnaires, no pressure. Just their voice, their stories, kept somewhere safe.

If you're reading this and someone has come to mind, that's usually a sign worth listening to.
